KERIL SAWYERR

Keril Sawyerr is a businessman, experienced sales professional, engineer, college athlete and certified nerd with a love for superheroes. In the early 90’s, his family emigrated to the United States to escape the civil war in their home country of Liberia. Starting over from scratch can be difficult, but our hardworking captain took his destiny in his own hands and put his nose to the grindstone, earning a track scholarship to Towson University and graduating with a master’s degree.

After several years as an engineer, Keril realized that a career in sales was more closely aligned with his skills, as well as his goals to succeed financially. He tried to be “successful” for a long time, working long hours, tackling many jobs and wasting time wondering why he wasn’t getting the return he imagined. But instead of giving up when frustrated, Keril questioned, tinkered and altered his course of navigation. And eventually he hit land -- landing the sales job of his dreams, making six figures and traveling the world.

Yet still, there was a gaping hole. Achieving your own dreams is great and all, but knowing others are still struggling with the same problems? Not an option for Keril. Our helmsman doesn’t leave others at sea, flailing about and expending energy until they drown. No, instead he threw out a life raft and started helping others. He began sharing his strategies with interested friends, family members and colleagues and quickly realized that his advice helped alleviate many of their career, productivity and money-making frustrations as well.

And so This Sales Life began. A place to share the methods and systems Keril has implemented, along with what he’s learned along the way as a professional development junkie who has been to more business and lifestyle conferences than he can count. He’s distilled everything in one convenient place, accessible in the comfort of your own home so that you, too, can create the life and career you’ve always imagined.
